Our Commitment

Weiders Paint & Hardware is committed to making weiders.com accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet or exceed Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing process of testing and improvement rather than a one-time project.

Measures We Take

• We are conducting an accessibility review of the Site against WCAG 2.2 AA success criteria as part of this redesign.
• We test key user flows — including the account, e-commerce checkout, and service booking features as they come online, mail-in service submissions, the Engraving Design Studio, the job application form, the donation request form, and the contact form — with keyboard navigation and screen reader software.
• We build accessibility into our design and development process for new features.
• We review and remediate accessibility issues on a periodic basis and after significant Site updates.

Conformance Status

We assess our conformance as partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA — meaning some parts of the Site do not yet fully conform to the standard and we are actively working to address them. Known Limitations

We are aware of the following current limitations and are working to resolve them:

• Text alternatives (images & shapes)

Third-party embedded content (for example, embedded YouTube videos, our online shop partners' sites, and the Engraving Design Studio) is provided by external services, and its accessibility is governed by that third party's own accessibility efforts, which we do not fully control. Where possible, we choose third-party tools with strong accessibility track records.

Compatibility

This Site is designed to be compatible with recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and commonly used assistive technologies, including screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver.
