At either store, customers can create a UPS shipment and label, buy shipping supplies, drop off a pre-labeled UPS package, or pick up a package sent to the store as a UPS Access Point. UPS services are not available at the Brighton store.
Create a UPS Shipment and Label
Bring your packaged item and destination information to the shipping counter. An associate can enter the shipment details, generate the UPS label, and prepare the package for UPS pickup after you approve the shipment.
Shipping options and arrival estimates depend on the package and destination. The associate will review the available choices for that shipment. Weiders does not promise a standard arrival time or cutoff that applies to every package.
Buy Boxes and Shipping Supplies
Both UPS service locations sell shipping supplies for customers preparing a package. Bring the item or its measurements if you need help choosing supplies that fit.
Packages must be securely closed and ready for shipment before they enter the UPS network. If an item is fragile, use suitable cushioning and a sturdy outer box.
Drop Off a Pre-Labeled UPS Package
Honeoye Falls and Fairport/Perinton accept UPS packages that already have a shipping label. Make sure the label is attached securely and any older shipping labels or barcodes are covered or removed.
Package acceptance is subject to UPS requirements. A damaged package, unreadable label, prohibited item, or shipment outside the location’s acceptance limits may not be accepted. If you are unsure about a package, bring it to the counter for review.
Pick Up a UPS Access Point Package
Both stores serve as UPS Access Point locations for eligible packages routed there by UPS. Wait until UPS confirms that the package is ready for pickup, then follow the identification and pickup instructions in the notice.
The UPS tracking record determines when a package is ready. Store staff cannot release a package before it has arrived and been processed for pickup.
