A saw that starts and dies, bogs under load, or won't idle usually has a fuel problem: stale gas, a clogged filter, or a carburetor that needs cleaning or a rebuild. A chain that smokes or cuts crooked is usually dull, loose, or not getting oil.

EGO Battery Chainsaws and Other Brands

We're an EGO Authorized Dealer and Service Center and repair EGO chainsaws under warranty. Battery saws fail differently than gas ones, so we diagnose the pack, the charger and the saw separately.

We're also certified for warranty work on the TTI brands (Ridgid, Ryobi and Hart). Non-warranty repair is open to Husqvarna, Echo, and any other brand we can get parts for. Call the store nearest you if you're not sure.

Cost and Turnaround

Diagnosis is $35, paid when you check the saw in. If the repair goes through as a warranty claim, the manufacturer covers the fee and you get the $35 back. If it isn't a warranty repair, the $35 isn't refunded and is billed in addition to the repair.

Standard turnaround is about two weeks for gas equipment and about three weeks for battery equipment, once diagnosis is done and you've approved the plan. Warranty parts availability can push that out.

How it works:

1. Drop off. Bring the saw to any Weiders location.
2. Diagnosis. A technician finds the problem and quotes the repair, or orders parts for warranty work.
3. Repair. We start once you approve.
4. Pickup. We call you when it's ready.
